Members of the Committee had an opportunity to discuss resiliency questions with directors of Cambridge's Emergency Management and Police Departments, including Gerald R. Reardon, Chief Engineer Cambridge Fire Department, and Christopher Burke, Acting Police Commissioner.

The Committee spoke with Department of Public Works Commissioner Owen O'Riordan on how the city is preparing for the storms of the century becoming storms of the half-century.
